Author Biography

Anna Fahraeus, Halmstad University

Anna Fahraeus is a lecturer at Halmstad University on the west coast of Sweden. She received her PhD in English literature from Gothenburg University in 2008. She has published various articles on masculinity, ethnicity and ethics. She is currently working on a comparative study on approaches to representing the individual cognitive process of acknowledging homosexual desires within the self and the conclusions reached about identity. The main corpus of the project consists of 30 films produced from 1987 to 2011 in the US, Europe, Argentina and Israel.
